Steiff Limited Edition Nativity Scene Set - 9 cm

A lovely limited edition piece as part of the Steiff Christmas range is this Mohair Nativity Scene Set. 

The nativity scene includes a manger made from a light colored wood with a star above it, and along with a wooden cot for baby Jesus. He is made from the finest mohair and carefully wrapped in a blanket. 

His parents are watching over him both of them made from mohair also. Mary is dressed in a pale blue wool cloak and red linen clothes underneath. Joseph is wearing a green wool cloak with beige linene clothed beneath. Each of them have black eyes and hand-emroidered mouth and nose in different color thread. 

The donkey kneels in the corner with his head bowed, made from grey mohair. He has exquisite details with a tail, black hooves and fluffy mane along with an air brushed face and outer ears which are black. He has a very realisic look thanks to the hand air brushing. 

The manager measures 26.5cm in length, 20.5cm in width & 28cm in height. Baby Jesus measures 6 cm, Mary measures 9cm, Joseph measures 10cm and the donkey measures 9cm. They all features the signature in-ear gold plated button and limited edition white label. 

This item is intended for adult collector's only and not intended as a toy. It comes packaged in special limited edition box with numbered certificate of authenticity, as is a very limited edition of only 500 pieces.
