Steiff Limited Edition Mr. Tod the Fox - 38 cm

Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit stories were published in 1902 and Steiff was the first company to include the curious rabbit in its toy collection just two years later. This longstanding relationship is to be continued in 2021.

Foxy Mr. Tod is a wonderful interpretation of the character from the forthcoming movie "Peter Rabbit 2: A Rabbit Leaves the Field", which is due for release in 2021. 

As with all Steiff, the attention to detail is impecable. He is made from tobacco brown and white mohair. His main body is made from brown, but his tummy and part of his face is in the white. He has a black stitched nose, black whiskers and an open mouth that gives him a particularly charachterful look. His eyes are yellow rimmed that give him the perfect, fox look and he has brown tipped ears. Mr. Tod wears a a colourful tailor-made red felt jacket.

This lovely Mr Tod is a limited edition of 2,000 pieces and comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity. He measures 38cm in height and is surface washable with care only. As with all Limited Edition pieces, this item is intended for Collector's only and not suitable for children.

Mr. Tod is 3-way jointed, meaning his head and arms move.
