In 1908 six coloured Steiff Teddy bears were commissioned for presentation in London. 

Four of the Teddy Bears were never seen again: pink, yellow, green and black. 

By virtue of a passionate knowledgeable Steiff collector, a never seen before black 1908 Teddy Bear was discovered. 

The Teddy bear’s name is Bruno, he is singular, compelling and an exceptional and significant replica. 

Bruno has a White label with the famous Steiff ‘underscored’ patinated steel button in the ear, just as the original bear found in the archives has.

Bruno has wooden black eyes and is stuffed with wood shavings just like the original.
